Serenity Griffin has redesigned our course website and created a new logo. You’ll notice that the logo captures the underlying goal of the course: the intersection of technology and the human experience. I’d like to thank the Office of the Dean of Pamplin College at Augusta University for supporting this summer internship and the HUMN 2010 course.

Last year, we did not have a theme to guide our work in Humanities. Students were encouraged to research anything that interested them. This fall, we will organize the course differently. The theme will be “Space is the Place,” and we will play around with different concepts of space and place. Our readings, small digital assignments, and the group project will explore space or place.
